Research Interests
My research interests are in the physics of classical
and quantum black holes, and quantum gravity.
- Classical black holes:
hairy black hole solutions in models of gravity with
various types of matter, such as scalar or Yang-Mills fields; existence and
stability of such solutions
- Quantum field theory in curved
space: behaviour of quantum fields on black
hole backgrounds, particularly in the presence of a cosmological constant or
rotation; defining the standard vacua; properties of these vacua.
- Brane black holes:
production and decay of brane black holes at TeV scale
colliders; Hawking radiation of such black holes.
